Job description

The Technician position in the TFP Technology Organization is responsible for assisting R&D/Operations across multiple Flexible Packaging and Thermoforming businesses. They will be part of a team whose goal is to execute the activities of the laboratory department and meet the requests of our internal and external customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Safely operate all testing equipment in assigned area.
  • Learn new testing equipment, processes and procedures.
  • Identify problems if/as they arise.
  • Work closely with the R&D Engineers to help develop new products and processes.
  • Perform a variety of tasks and juggle multiple/new requests on a daily basis.
  • Provide accurate, timely results and updates on assignments.
  • Maintain accurate records and write reports, as required.
  • Perform repetitive, physical tasks, manual labor, and carry cases up to 30 lbs. as required.
  • Participate in and attend all required department and company training.
  • Ability to work non-standard hours or travel, if required.

This position is located in office in Hartsville, SC and 100% onsite

Compensation

The annual base salary range for this role is from $35,000 to $40,000
