Albertsons Companies seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support accurate prescription processing, data entry, and medication preparation under a pharmacist's supervision. You will interact with customers, answer questions, and ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines to deliver safe and efficient service.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ or 18+ depending on location requirements
• Current Board of Pharmacy registration or licensure required where applicable
• Ability to operate computers, registers, and pharmacy systems
• Successful completion of required pharmacy training programs and technician development requirements
• Working knowledge of pharmacy procedures, prescription processing, and HIPAA guidelines
• Proficiency in computer systems and basic math calculations
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow written and verbal instructions
• Availability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays preferred

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions and enter data under supervision
• Prepare medications and assist with order processing within regulatory limits
• Handle customer inquiries and direct clinical questions to the pharmacist
• Maintain records, restock supplies, and keep the workspace clean
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and federal/state pharmacy laws
• Support daily operations and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
