Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Assist pharmacists with filling prescriptions under supervision.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.
• Operate the pharmacy register and computer software.
• Maintain customer-focused atmosphere in person and on the phone.
• Assist with third-party prescription information and claims resolution.
• Submit renewal requests to prescribers when applicable by law.
• Participate in pharmacy inventory control and controlled substances procedures.
• Process written prescriptions and refill requests per law.
• Complete customer purchases per store procedures and verify details at pickup.
• Facilitate clear communications within the department.
• Apply training to daily pharmacy practice.
• Meet physical requirements with or without accommodations.
