Job summary

CVS Health Pharmacy Technician role in a retail store supports pharmacists in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate patient care. You will assist with immunizations, patient counseling, and everyday pharmacy tasks while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and service.

This part-time position requires flexibility for shifts, weekend work, and adherence to state Board of Pharmacy requirements along with company SOPs to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, the candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• State-level licensure and national certification vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist patients in-store and over the phone.
• Support pharmacy workflow: production, pick-up, drive-thru and drop-off.
• Assist with inventory tasks and vaccine/care services as trained.
