Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare and prepackage medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Enter prescription information and process prescriptions in the computer.
• Assist in orientation and training of new staff.
• Obtain customer and insurance information and enter into the computer.
• Take prescription refill orders over the phone.
• Collect payments for prescriptions and OTC sales.
• Maintain over the counter inventory and records of medications.
• Assist in reprocessing of rejected prescriptions.
