Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a Part Time Pharmacist to support our Indianapolis area locations. You will handle prescription processing, dispensing, patient counseling, and inventory control while overseeing pharmacy technicians as needed.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (Doctorate preferred), a valid state license, and strong HIPAA knowledge along with excellent communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (Required) in Pharmacy or related field.
• Doctorate degree in Pharmacy preferred.
• Three years experience in pharmaceutical department.
• Pharmacy License in good standing in the state of operation.
• Immunization Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive prescription and refill requests from customers and clinics and fill prescriptions efficiently and accurately.
• Dispense medications as prescribed and oversee accurate retrieval, counting, weighing, and labeling.
• Provide medication counseling on prescriptions and OTC drugs, including interactions and storage.
