Job summary

Neighborhood Health Association offers a part-time Pharmacist position to provide patient education, dispense medications accurately, and maintain a secure, compliant pharmacy.

The role requires Ohio licensure, strong teamwork with providers and staff, and a focus on safe, effective medication management within an FQHC setting.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist with the State of Ohio.
• Excellent business acumen.
• Pleasant personality, ability to communicate well to the patient and treat all customers with dignity and respect.
• Must be well organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work with a culturally diverse population.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient education and counsel on side effects; must be able to type label and compound or fill prescriptions as directed.
• Recognize potential drug interactions when two or more medications are dispensed.
• Keep tight control on inventory and scheduled drugs.
• Serve as administrator and coordinator between providers, technicians, patients, and the public.
• Maintain a professional atmosphere and security in the Pharmacy and organization.
