Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in the state of employment.
• Graduate of a US School of Pharmacy or foreign equivalency exam.
• Must have passed the NAPLEX exam.

Responsibilities

• Recommend pharmaceutical products to patients and prescribers.
• Receive verbal RX orders and document them per state/federal laws.
• Fill, label and dispense prescription orders accurately.
• Assess RX orders for safety and legal compliance.
• Provide drug counseling to customers and prescribers.
• Handle third-party billing and customer charges.
• Maintain records including insurance information and RX data.
• Engage in immunizations for patients and provide safe administration.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to associates when needed.
• File prescription records per regulations.
• Run reports and monitor department operations.
• Oversee department administrative needs in manager's absence.
