Job summary

Actalent is seeking a licensed Pharmacist for a part-time role in Ringgold, GA. The position supports daily operations in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), focusing on safe dispensing, clinical guidance, and medication management.

Responsibilities include dispensing oversight, patient counseling, therapy monitoring, and regulatory compliance. The job offers a range-based pay of $60–$65 per hour and requires Monday availability with 20–25 hours weekly in a fully onsite setting.

Qualifications

• PharmD or ACPE-accredited degree required.
• Active Georgia Pharmacist License or eligibility to licensure in Georgia.
• 3+ years of pharmacy experience in community, outpatient, or clinical setting.
• Current BLS/CPR certification upon hire.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical and clinical sciences.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and patient counseling skills.
• Ability to accurately perform pharmaceutical calculations and identify medication-related issues.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations to ensure safe, accurate, and compliant dispensing.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and completeness.
• Monitor therapy safety and potential drug interactions.
• Provide patient counseling on medication use and safety.
• Collaborate with providers to optimize regimens and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations including DEA and 340B.
• Supervise technicians and staff; maintain efficient workflow.
