Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead in a busy retail pharmacy in Prattville, AL. This part-time role supports the Pharmacy Manager, ensures safe dispensing, immunization delivery, patient counseling, and team coaching while maintaining compliance and high service standards.

The ideal candidate holds an active Pharmacist license in Alabama and an active NPI, with the ability to manage duties during shifts and assist with inventory and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Oversee pharmacy operations as proxy for Pharmacy Manager during shifts.
• Ensure accurate prescription fulfillment and follow pharmacy workflow procedures.
• Deliver immunizations and support pharmacy team in clinical services.
• Maintain inventory controls including cold chain.
• Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations.
