Job summary

Genoa Healthcare in Massachusetts is seeking a Part-time Float Pharmacist to perform professional duties for Central and Eastern Massachusetts, including Worcester, Milford, Marlborough, Framingham, Brockton, Quincy, and New Bedford locations. The role involves dispensing medications, counseling patients, and immunization administration within state guidelines.

The position is scheduled 3 days/24 hours per week, Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:30pm, with every other Saturday in Worcester 9:00am–4:00pm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current pharmacist license in Massachusetts.
• Certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.

Pharmacy Locations: Worcester, Milford, Marlborough, Framingham, Brockton, Quincy, New Bedford
Hours: This part-time position will be scheduled 3 days/24 hours per week during the pharmacy hours of Monday-Friday: 8:00am - 5:30pm and will work every other Saturday in Worcester 9:00am-4:00pm.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacyor PharmD
• Current pharmacist license in state of Massachusetts
• Certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire
• Access to reliable transportation and valid driver's license

Preferred Qualification:

• Authorization to administer long-acting injectables or willing to obtain within 3 months of hire

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $44 - $79 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
