Position Summary
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Part-Time Pharmacist - Brooklyn.
In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for safely preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications to patients in accordance with the laws and regulations governing pharmacists and the practice of pharmacy by the NYS Board of Pharmacy and Lutheran Medical Center pharmacy policies and procedures.
The role includes optimizing drug therapy by identifying, resolving, and preventing drug-related problems and improving therapeutic outcomes. The pharmacist will work independently within the limits of established pharmacy policies and procedures as a member of the inpatient care team.
Additional responsibilities include supervising pharmacy staff, managing controlled substances, preparing IV products, providing drug information, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Additional requirements include completing safety and competency training annually, maintaining current NY pharmacy license, and demonstrating effective communication skills.
