Position:

Part-time Pharmacist.

Location:

Franklin, TN 37067.

Compensation:

We offer competitive pay based off of experience

Shift Schedule:

This will be a rotating weekly schedule

• Part-Time / 30 hours per pay period
• Monday-Friday
• 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• 2 days one week / 3 days the following week
• Example: Tue/Thu, then Mon/Wed/Fri

Minimum Qualifications:

• Eligible to work for any U.S. Employer
• License to practice pharmacy is required in the state of the position, and license must be in good standing. (Unable to accept applications for people that are in a probationary status of any kind.)
• 1-2 years of Pharmacist experience is required
• Must also be willing to obtain licensure for multiple states, as needed.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening process.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point or other Windows based software programs.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding patient and company proprietary information.
• Proficient in the area of clinical interpretation: drug-drug, drug-disease, drug-food interactions, and allergies
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Duties include:

• Assists in the daily activities of the pharmacy, including the development, oversight, and monitoring of services, in support of policies, goals, and objectives established by the Pharmacy Supervisor.
• Support an environment that promotes optimal efficiencies, staff retention, and superior quality of business office employees.
• Review orders for accuracy and clinical appropriateness.
• Verify all prepared DURs are accurate and communicate recommendations to clients in a timely manner.
• Complete quality assurance checks on all orders filled by fulfillment staff prior to dispensing and releasing the orders to shipping.
• Communicates well and maintains positive client relationships and answers any pharmacist related calls and/or questions.
• Other special projects and duties as assigned by Pharmacy Supervisor.

Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral English communication and to communicate effectively with customers, employees, and vendors.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

• Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, reach, walk and stand. Must be able to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Occasional physical effort with light to medium objects. Occasionally required to lift objects 10-25 pounds.
• Able to reach, carry, finger, grasp and feel objects related to duties.
