Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Cleveland is seeking certified Personal Trainers to develop and implement individualized workout regimens and conduct fitness assessments for members. Responsibilities include designing customized programs, documenting progress, and conducting assessments to tailor plans to individual health goals.

Applicants must hold a current YMCA-recognized certification, have at least one year of experience, and current CPR/First Aid certifications.

Qualifications

• Current YMCA-recognized personal trainer certification.
• Experience designing personalized exercise programs.
• Minimum 1 year of personal training instruction.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Strong motivation, communication and sales skills.
• Ability to work with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement customized and individualized fitness programs for members.
• Maintain clear and comprehensive written documentation of each member's program.
• Accurately document each training session as required by YMCA policies.
• Conduct fitness assessments and evaluations.
• Design exercise programs for various participants based on goals and assessments.
• Instruct exercise safely and with proper equipment use.
