Job summary

CENTERS, LLC is seeking a Part-Time Personal Trainer for UAB Campus Recreation to deliver safe, effective, personalized fitness sessions and uphold a high standard of customer service.

You will assess clients, design programs, maintain session records, and work with staff. Required are a high school diploma, CPR/AED and First Aid, and a current Personal Training Certification (ACE/NASM/ISSA/ACSM/NSCA).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required.
• Personal Training Certification from ACE/NASM/ISSA/ACSM/NSCA or comparable accrediting body.

Responsibilities

• Conducts safe, effective, and goal-oriented personal training sessions for clients of varying fitness levels.
• Provides exercise instruction, demonstrations, and motivation using proper technique.
• Ensures client safety within strength training and cardio areas.
• Maintains client documentation, scheduling, and session records using designated systems.
• Delivers high-quality customer service in a professional and inclusive manner.
• Communicates scheduling needs and operational concerns with supervisors.
• Enforces training policies and safety procedures; attends required meetings.
• Stays current with fitness trends, standards, and safety practices.
