Job summary

A global engineering services organization in Arizona seeks a compassionate individual for a transportation role. You will ensure safe and courteous transportation for residents to various appointments, assist with mobility needs, and maintain the community vehicle. Ideal candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and experience in transportation, preferably in a long-term care setting. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state Driver's License.
• Three years of related transportation experience preferred, especially in long-term care.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is necessary.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable, courteous transportation to residents.
• Assist residents in and out of the vehicle.
• Ensure the safety and satisfaction of residents while on trips.
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of the community vehicle.
• Prepare the bus for operation and coordinate necessary vehicle maintenance.

Job Description

• Provide safe, reliable, courteous and efficient transportation service for our residents to on-and-off-campus appointments, errands and community activities
• Assist residents in and out of the vehicle, utilizing the wheelchair lift/stairs as needed; opens, closes and loads/unloads walkers and wheelchairs
• Ensure resident safety and satisfaction are priorities, and account for presence of all residents when leaving or returning to community
• Keep the community vehicle clean and properly maintained, including fueled at all times
• Prepare the bus for operation and coordinate necessary vehicle maintenance
