Flatirons FlexCare for Seniors is seeking caring students to provide non-medical home care to seniors in their own homes. This part-time role offers flexible hours, meaningful experience, and a chance to help maintain independence and dignity.

Key duties include daily living support, companionship, light housekeeping, and transportation as needed. Training is required before working independently.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 25 lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to complete required home care training before working independently.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain a clean, safe living environment.
• Report any safety concerns.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Support with mobility, transfers, and light exercise.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Meal prep, laundry, light housekeeping.
• Grocery shopping and errands.
• Transportation to appointments or community activities (as needed).
• Engage in conversation and social interaction.
• Provide emotional encouragement.
• Read, play games, or participate in hobbies together.
