Job summary

Right at Home Pasadena/Covina is hiring Part-Time Personal Care Assistants to support seniors in Pasadena, Covina, and surrounding areas. Flexible 4–6 hour shifts, up to 24 hours weekly, with paid training and weekly pay. Start immediately with orientations and mileage reimbursement for travel time between clients.

Responsibilities include bathing, mobility help, meals, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship. Prior caregiving experience a plus; bilingual abilities are a bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred
• TB test within the last 90 days
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and insurance
• Able to pass a background check
• Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration preferred
• CNA/HHA/PCA cert is a plus but not required
• Bilingual abilities (Spanish/Chinese) a plus)

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate in-home support to help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Providing mobility and transfer assistance

• Providing transportation to errands and medical appointments

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Current TB test (within the last 90 days)l
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance
• Ability to pass a background check
• Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration preferred
• CNA, Home Health Aide (HHA), or Personal Care Aide (PCA) certification is a plus, but not required
• Bilingual in Spanish, Mandarin, or Cantonese is a plus, but not required
