Job summary

BMO Financial Group is seeking a part-time Branch Lobby Leader in California for a 20-hour week. You will welcome customers, guide them to digital options, and collaborate with partners to grow relationships beyond personal banking.

You’ll discuss banking services, propose channels, and provide personal banking and credit card advice. A strong customer focus and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Typically between 1 – 2 years of relevant experience and/or certification in related field of study desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, smartphones, online tools, and applications.
• Some experience in a consultative customer service or sales role with a drive to deliver a personal customer experience.
• Basic knowledge of specialized sales and business banking solutions to refer to specialists.
• Passionate commitment to helping customers.
• Drive to deliver a personal customer experience.
• A focus on results and the ability to thrive in a consultative sales and team-based environment.
• Resourceful self-starter with courage and confidence to approach customers.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and guides customers as they walk into the branch lobby and offers guidance on digital/self-serve options.
• Identifies referral opportunities that grow customer relationships with BMO beyond personal banking.
• Assists in discussing banking services and channels to meet needs such as credit and accounts.
• Handles customer transactions with accurate, smooth execution and service quality.
• Probes to understand personal banking and credit card needs; integrates marketing promotions.
• Supports branch operations and risk/compliance by following procedures and policies.
