Job summary

Personal Budgets Support Service in Kettering is seeking a Female Personal Assistant / Care Assistant to join a small team supporting a client at home. The role involves a flexible, variable hours contract with evenings and weekends, approximately 15 to 20 hours per week, at £13.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal activities, including minimal personal hygiene.
• Support domestic tasks: meal preparation, laundry and money management.
• Aid with cognitive therapy activities for orientation/memory.
• Carry out light household duties to keep the home clean.
• Assist with shopping: plan trips, make lists, buy items.
• Accompany the client on local trips and outings.
• Support use of public transport.
• Drive the client’s Motability vehicle (driving licence essential).
• Other tasks within the scope of a Personal Assistant.
