Disability North is recruiting an experienced personal assistant for Marley, a non-verbal child with autism who requires full supervision. The role is 4 hours per week, including weekends, at £14.00 per hour, based in Walker, Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Marley enjoys sensory activities and needs support to access the community, including personal care such as toileting and washing hands, and accompanying him to activities.

Responsibilities

• Support Marley in accessing the local community and accompany him to chosen activities.
• Assist with personal care including toileting and washing hands and help manage routines to prevent dysregulation.
