Job summary

Disability North seeks an experienced personal assistant to support Ava, a non-verbal girl with autism and sensory processing needs. The role is 5 hours per week at £13.70 per hour, based in Walker, Newcastle upon Tyne, with school-holiday only schedule and weekend availability.

You will provide personal care, assist with dressing, accompany Ava to activities, and help her access local community resources. Experience with autism is essential to ensure safe supervision and effective coping

Qualifications

• Must have experience working with children with autism.
• Ability to provide personal care and dressing assistance.
• Able to escort and supervise Ava in community activities.

Responsibilities
