Job summary

Capital Health seeks an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform perinatal ultrasound exams, including first/second/third trimester studies and fetal echocardiography, across the department. You will document findings and provide patient education in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires ARDMS OB/GYN, knowledge of AIUM OB standards, and BLS for Healthcare Providers. Flexible scheduling and hospital-based imaging support are available.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of ultrasonography including general and perinatal procedures.
• ARDMS OB/GYN certification required.
• Familiarity with AIUM OB exams and ultrasound equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures according to department protocols and document images.
• Provide patient education and supportive care during exams.
• Handle on-call rotating weekends and after-hours duties.
• Assist Perinatologist with invasive outpatient procedures when needed.
• Record patient data and ensure proper charting and image management.
