Job summary

Capital Health is seeking an ultrasound technologist to perform comprehensive fetal and general ultrasound examinations in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will document imaging for physician interpretation, educate patients, and participate in on-call rotations for weekends and after-hours.

Responsibilities include assisting perinatology procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe, clean environment while collaborating with physicians and staff across departments.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of ultrasonography including education for general and perinatal training.
• ARDMS OB/GYN certification required.
• Familiarity with AIUM OB exam standards and ultrasound equipment.
• AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams according to department procedures and protocols.
• Document images with proper identification for physician interpretation.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.
• Rotate on-call for weekends and holidays and after-hours as needed.
• Assist perinatologist with invasive outpatient procedures (e.g., amniocentesis/CVS).
• Troubleshoot equipment and report issues to biomedical team.
