Berkshire Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in Sandisfield, MA is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our per diem and part-time team. You will assess residents, develop care plans, provide direct treatment, and collaborate with a clinical team.

Requirements include a Bachelor/Master/Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy and state licensure; strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills; ability to work with a diverse team in a skilled nursing setting.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science Degree, Master of Science or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
• Appropriate licensing requirements by individual states must be maintained.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers.
• Standing and walking for significant amounts of time is necessary.

Responsabilidades

• Screen patients/residents
• Evaluate patients/residents and develop appropriate care plans
• Provide direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care
• Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers
• Monitor efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisor
• Document activities according to the company's clinical documentation system on a timely basis
• Demonstrate knowledge of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations
• Communicate effectively with patients, residents, team members, customers, and supervisor
• Participate in clinical program development and implementation
• Participate in training and orientation of staff, students, and volunteers
• Participate in interview process for new staff
• Participate in census building and marketing activities
• Participate in quality improvement activities
