Job summary

North Suffolk is seeking a part-time Program Coordinator to support the Recovery Learning Center community at the Hope Center and the wider Metro Boston Recovery Learning Community. This role focuses on peer support, supervision, and sustaining a peer-centered culture that promotes recovery and community inclusion for all members.

The ideal candidate is a current or former recipient of mental health or substance use services and has supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's in social sciences preferred.
• Experience with adults who identify with mental health or substance use disorders.
• At least one year of supervisory experience.
• Current or former recipient of mental health services in recovery encouraged.
• Strong critical thinking and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance and supervision to Peer Facilitators at the Hope Center.
• Participates in recruitment, hiring, and evaluation of Peer Facilitators.
• Provides leadership in promoting psychiatric rehabilitation with colleagues.
• Participates in MBRLC Leadership meetings and advisory groups.
• Participates in monthly Environment of Care (EOC) meetings at the Lindemann building to represent the Hope Center and the Hope Center Community.
• All other duties as assigned by the Director of Recovery.
