Job summary

MedMark Treatment Centers is seeking a Part Time Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) to provide behavioral health services and build recovery-focused peer relationships. You will document encounters, support treatment goals, and promote a culture of recovery within and beyond the clinic.

The CPRS will work closely with the Treatment Center Director, engage with community resources, and assist clients in pursuing personal goals in education, employment, and life changes.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of community resources to support patients' treatment goals.
• Ability to document encounters accurately and maintain records.
• Comply with privacy laws (HIPAA) and confidentiality standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as an integral member of the MedMark Treatment Centers Team.
• Share recovery experiences to inspire hope among clients.
• Engage in developing a culture of recovery and peer support.
• Engage with community resources, referrers, and consumers to identify supports.
• Assist clients in achieving individualized goals through linkage to services.
• Collaborate with staff on treatment planning and follow-up data.
• Attend peer support trainings and meetings as required.
• Safeguard confidential information and comply with center policies.
