Qualifications

• Current certification as a Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) or Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRSS) from an accredited state or national board.
• Lived experience of recovery from mental health, substance use, or co‑occurring challenges with a stable recovery period (1–2 years).
• Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience as a Peer Support Specialist in a health, community, or behavioral health setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver established training curricula covering core peer competencies and the recovery model.
• Facilitate adult learning using role‑plays, discussions, case scenarios, and multimedia.
• Assess students' mastery of core skills and navigate professional boundaries.
