Job summary

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is seeking a part-time Urgent Care Nurse. The position schedules 20 hours per week with a weekend rotation every three weeks and holiday requirements.

Coverage may be needed at King of Prussia and Bucks County Urgent Care locations based on clinical needs. Preferred candidates have pediatric, urgent care, or emergency medicine experience and are prepared to provide family-centered nursing care.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• RN experience for at least 1 year required.
• Pediatric/urgent care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe nursing care following the nursing process.
• Collaborate with families and care team to plan and discharge needs.
• Manage care of complex patients with proper prioritization and delegation.
• Document patient status and outcomes per hospital standards.
• Participate in rounds, councils, and quality initiatives.
