The entry-level position requires a two-year AMA-approved respiratory care program (or equivalent experience) and relevant certifications within defined timeframes. Strong clinical teamwork is essential.

Formación

• Completion of a two-year AMA approved respiratory care program.
• AS degree alternative: two years graduate plus five years clinical experience if AS degree not possessed.

Responsabilidades

• Administer aerosolized medication via IPV, HHN, MDI, DPI.
• Administer medical gases.
• Assist with routine trach care.
• Document results in patient records.
• Perform airway clearance maneuvers and chest physiotherapy.
• Perform bedside pulmonary mechanics and CPR with bag-mask ventilation.
