Cortica is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist in Encinitas, CA to join a growing multidisciplinary team. The role focuses on pediatric neurodevelopmental care, delivering individual and group therapies, and collaborating across disciplines.

The successful candidate will hold a CA OT license, possess strong clinical skills, and be passionate about helping children reach their full potential within a supportive, growth-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in occupational therapy or related field.
• Current Occupational Therapy License in California.
• Excellent clinical skills and compassionate patient care.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary clinical settings preferred.
• Flexible and open to learning new approaches.
• Appreciation for a wide range of therapeutic approaches.
• Passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Establish OT treatment goals using dynamic assessment tools.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to create integrated treatment plans.
• Provide individual therapy sessions and group or co-treatments as appropriate.
• Maintain patient records, documentation, and billing in line with regulations.
• Deliver play- and goal-based interventions to support sensory processing and daily living skills.
• Engage families to understand values, interests and goals.
• Implement programming addressing sensorimotor, cognitive, communication, recreational and social domains.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs that complement treatment.
