Job summary

42 North Dental, a clinician-led, multi-site practice near Boston, is seeking a part-time Pediatric Dentist to join Wellesley Dental Group in Wellesley, MA. The role features a per diem of $1,000–$1,200 with uncapped earnings via collections and a flexible schedule within a supportive team.

The successful candidate will join a full-service office offering integrated orthodontics and periodontal care, state-of-the-art equipment, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Dental degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligibility or certification in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state dental license.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documented.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism within the dental office.
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree (ADA CODA-accredited)

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

BLS/CPR certification
