Job summary

42 North Dental in Wellesley, MA is seeking a part-time Pediatric Dentist to join our multi-specialty team. The role offers a daily rate with uncapped earning potential through a percentage of collections, and a flexible schedule designed for a long-term career path in a supportive, patient‑focused practice.

Candidates must hold a DMD or DDS, be board eligible or certified in pediatric dentistry, maintain current licensure, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Keep abreast of new developments in dentistry through CE and professional development.
