Job summary

42 North Dental in Wellesley, MA is seeking a part-time Pediatric Dentist to join our multi-specialty practice near Boston. The role offers a flexible schedule, an uncapped earning potential through a percentage of collections, and the chance to work with integrated orthodontics and periodontics within a state-of-the-art facility.

Compensation includes a per diem rate of $1,000-$1,200 with benefits available for full-time averaging 32 hours per week, including medical, dental, vision, 401K, CE

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care; maintain high standards of care.
• Maintain ethics and professionalism; stay current with developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry
