Job summary

42 North Dental in Wellesley, MA is seeking a part-time Pediatric Dentist to join our multi-specialty practice. You’ll provide high-quality pediatric care, collaborate with orthodontics and periodontics, and enjoy a flexible schedule with a strong patient base just outside Boston.

This role offers a per diem compensation of $1,000–$1,200 with uncapped earning potential through percent of collections, with full benefits for part-time averaging 32 hours a week.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligibility or certification in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state dental license.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documentation.
• Malpractice insurance coverage proof.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and monitor growth and development.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
