Boys Town National Research Hospital is seeking a part-time Certified Medical Assistant for the SPARK Pediatric Weight Management Clinic. In this role, you will provide essential nursing care under supervision, helping to improve the lives of patients.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, assisting providers, and managing clinic supplies. Required qualifications include a high school diploma, Medical Assistant Certification, and current CPR certification. Benefits include medical coverage at no cost for services at Boys Town locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from accredited medical assistant program required.
• Current Medical Assistant Certification required.
• Currently active on the Nebraska Medication Aid Registry required.
• CPR (BLS) certification required.
• Prior working knowledge of using a personal computer and electronic medical records required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients in area of practice.
• Assist provider with procedures and delivery of care.
• Participate in quality improvement projects.
• Manage clinic supply inventory and orders.
• Promote patient advocacy for privacy and confidentiality.
