UCSF Benioff Children's Physicians is seeking a part-time Patient Service Representative/Medical Assistant to join our pediatric care team in San Francisco. You will act as the first contact for families, performing front desk duties and providing clinical support to pediatricians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Medical Assistant Certification.
• CPR/BLS Certification.

Responsabilités

• Answers phones professionally and warmly to assist all callers with healthcare objectives.
• Registers patients, processes new patient paperwork and collects copays.
• Schedules and confirms appointments; maintains clinician schedules.
• Provides clinical support to the Pediatrician within the department's scope.
• Maintains patient demographics and insurance information in the EHR.
• Keeps supervisor informed of patient or physician needs and schedule changes.
• Adheres to HIPAA and UCSF policies; participates in team meetings.
