Job summary

Achieve Beyond in Virginia is hiring part-time, hourly Behavior Therapists to provide direct ABA instruction to children with developmental needs in home, clinic, or community settings. You will work with BCBA and fellow therapists, communicating with families and collecting daily data while maintaining confidentiality.

Requirements include at least 2 years of relevant experience, enrollment or completion of a related degree, and ABA exposure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years working with special needs children ages 2–21 in supervised setting.
• Current enrollment or completion of undergrad/grad in psychology, healthcare, human services, education, or related field.
• Experience using ABA preferred.
• Completion of Achieve Beyond training and competency exam upon completion of training.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan outlined by the BCBA.
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other Behavior Therapists on the case.
• Communicate with families, provide debriefs, and share home/community strategies.
• Collect daily data and organize the child’s program book weekly.
• Maintain confidentiality of information in accordance with state and federal regulations.
