Job summary

Qualifications

Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or a master’s degree in another discipline with 18 hours of graduate work in the teaching discipline.
Minimum two (2) years teaching experience in higher education or one (1) year teaching experience and three (3) years employment in the field.

Responsibilities

Prepares and delivers instruction on topics in Physical Education.
Compiles, administers, evaluates and grades students' work and keeps them informed about progress.
Develops curricula and instructional materials such as syllabi and assignments.
Maintains office hours and assists in student recruitment and retention.
Maintains accurate attendance records and FERPA compliance.
Attends faculty meetings and professional development activities.
Provides outreach service to the community.
