Job summary

FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our pawn store team. The role offers a compensation range of $20.29 to $21.25 per hour plus an easily achievable commission structure that pays per transaction.

In this entry‑level position, you will work with the staff to service lending and retail transactions, greet customers, manage inventory, and help with inquiries and problem resolution. A flexible schedule is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 18 years of age; WA requires 21.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Knowledge of jewelry and general merchandise preferred.
• Able to work flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers to develop rapport for tailored financial solutions.
• Perform non-management open/close procedures.
• Keep sales floor clean, stocked, and displays organized.
• Conduct sales and pawn/loan transactions per policy.
• Handle cash and negotiable items per procedures.
• Receive, evaluate, lift, carry, and secure merchandise for pawn, buy, and retail.
• Answer incoming calls per company standards.
• Explain legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions clearly.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers.
• Collaborate with team to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Complete assigned training and ongoing development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
