Qualifications

• Training in competencies including oxygen equipment handling and infection control.
• Must be able to follow oxygen transport policy.
• Frequent standing and walking.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform lifting techniques.
• Repetitive grasping, dexterity, and wrist movements.
• Basic patient lifting techniques taught in-service.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to and from the point of service, including admissions and discharges, and moves equipment as needed.
