Job summary

Swedish Hospital is hiring a Food Service Assistant II in Naperville, IL, for part-time hours (20 weekly) with a schedule that includes rotating weekends and holidays. The role involves preparing and serving meals to patients and staff, ensuring safety and quality, and working as part of a team to support efficient dining services.

You will need to complete a ANSI-accredited Food Handler Training within 30 days of start. A HS diploma or GED and healthcare food service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Food Handler Training Certificate Program within 30 days of start date.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred with minimum 1 year of healthcare food service experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and/or serve foods and beverages in one or more food service environments.
• Assemble, serve and/or deliver meals to patients and staff in a timely, professional manner.
• Support food safety and quality for patients, visitors and staff.
