Job summary

A Place at Home Encinitas is hiring part-time caregivers to support seniors and adults with disabilities in North County San Diego. Flexible day, evening, and overnight shifts around class and clinical schedules, with real-world care experience and mentorship from experienced nurses.

You will provide 1:1 care, assist with mobility, hygiene, meals, and companionship, and report changes to refine your clinical observation. Training is provided; growth through our Care Manager Training Program.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Nursing, Pre-Med, or Allied Health program.
• Over 18 years of age.
• No prior caregiving experience required; training provided.
• Clean Driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 care for seniors, veterans, and adults with disabilities.
• Assist with mobility, hygiene, meals, and companionship.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition to strengthen assessment.
• Communicate effectively with families and office staff.
