Job summary

Saint Francis Health System - Muskogee campus is seeking a Nurse Technician to provide patient care under a licensed nurse's supervision, following hospital standards to improve patient status.

The role requires completion of a Nurse Technician or CNA program, CPR within 30 days, and 0-6 months healthcare experience. Work hours are variable including weekends and is ECG status with limited benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Nurse Technician or CNA program completion.
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
• 0-6 months related healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care to assigned patients under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Assists with ADLs and basic nursing tasks, considering age and psychosocial factors.
• Observes and reports patient condition, activity, and needs timely and accurately.
• Records treatments, I&O, and vital signs legibly and promptly.
• Maintains clean, orderly patient rooms and transports supplies as needed.
• Participates in mandatory in-services and unit educational activities.
