Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital Muskogee, Inc. is seeking a Nurse Technician to provide patient care under the direction of an Oklahoma state-licensed nurse.

The role supports the nursing process, with responsibilities including assisting with ADLs, recording vital signs, and documenting data per unit policy. Minimum education includes a high school diploma or GED, plus completion of the Saint Francis Nurse Technician Training Program or a CNA program.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and efficient manner.
• Detail oriented documentation of numerical data.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to an assigned group of patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living and care that supports patient functional status.
• Observe and report patient conditions, activities, and needs to the licensed nurse in a timely manner.
• Perform unit-specific skills and routine procedures as delegated.
• Document data according to hospital policy and record treatments clearly.
