Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital Muskogee, Inc. is seeking a Nurse Technician to provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

You will perform routine nursing tasks, document findings, and support ADLs to help patients achieve functional status in a busy inpatient unit. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification within 30 days, and completion of the Saint Francis Nurse Technician Training Program or CNA program.

Qualifications

• Performs patient care under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Accurately documents data and reports patient needs.
• Maintains safety and cleanliness of patient rooms and unit.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care to assigned patients under licensed nurse supervision.
• Performs routine procedures and assists with activities of daily living.
• Records treatments, vital signs, and intake/output accurately and promptly.
• Observes patient condition and communicates changes to the licensed nurse.
• Completes unit duties and environmental cleaning to maintain a safe, orderly unit.
