Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, LLC in the Chicago area is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support pre-op and PACU workflows, obtain vital signs, and help maintain patient flow under RN supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma, CNA or Medical Assistant certification preferred, BLS within 6 months of hire, and at least two years in a direct patient care setting; ambulatory surgery center experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two years of direct patient care experience preferred.
• CNA or Medical Assisting certification preferred.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and assist with patient flow in pre-op and PACU.
• Transport patients and escort family members as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock in pre-op and PACU areas.
