Job summary

Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for a part-time, day shift position. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One of the listed care programs or current clinical student status preferred.
• AHA BLS certification within 90 days of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision of a nurse.
• Assist with admissions and discharge processes.
• Observe patients’ physical, mental, and emotional conditions and report changes to the nurse.
• Comply with patient safety practices under the direction of the nurse.
