Montgomery County Memorial Hospital (Downtown Care clinic) is seeking a part-time Patient Access Representative to support patient flow and registration at the newly integrated medical and dental clinic in Red Oak, IA. This role is 24 hours per week with clinic hours from 8am to 8pm, including day and evening shifts and rotating Saturday mornings.

The successful candidate will handle calls, registration, insurance verification, and front office duties with a friendly, detail-oriented approach.

Description

MCMH + Clinics has an opening for a part-time Patient Access Representative at Downtown Care, MCMH's new integrated medical and dental clinic. This position is 24 hours per week. Clinic hours are 8am-8pm, and scheduled hours may include a combination of day and evening hours and rotating Saturday mornings.

Responsibilities include answering telephone calls, scheduling appointments, patient registration and check-in, verifying insurance coverage, maintaining accurate patient information, and assisting patients with front office needs.

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to remain calm and focused in a busy clinic environment. Must be detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to providing excellent customer service. General computer knowledge is required. Previous experience in patient access, a medical office, or healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
