Job Description

This part-time Parks Crew Member position is responsible for maintaining the parks' safety and cleanliness, as well as ensuring the integrity of the County's renowned park system. The role includes providing customer service, performing janitorial duties, and routine grounds maintenance such as mowing grass, litter collection, and basic equipment upkeep. The position also involves assisting with pavilion rentals by ensuring cleanliness and readiness of rental facilities.

Essential Duties

• Interacting with the public during pavilion rentals
• Overseeing pavilion rentals
• Providing restroom upkeep and maintenance
• Conducting park safety checks and general inspections
• Assisting with Youth Athletic Associations
• Preparing incident reports as needed
• Performing end-of-day facility lock-up and alarm activation
• Providing preventative maintenance on equipment
• Performing other similar duties as assigned

Public Speaking Duties

• Interacting with Youth Athletic Associations

Other Job Requirements

• This job may require working after hours, on weekends, and holidays

Compensation

Hourly rate: $16.80

Minimum Qualifications

• Candidate must be at least 16 years old
• Experience in customer service, janitorial services, or grounds maintenance preferred
• Valid Driver's License required
